在今天上午微软的 E3 新闻发布会上，Harmonix 的 Alex Rigopulos 透露了即将推出的《摇滚乐队 2》的更多细节，包括确认了游戏中将出现的一些大牌乐队。名单上的领衔乐队是硬摇滚传奇乐队 AC/DC，他们终于以歌曲“Let There Be Rock”在节奏游戏中首次亮相。

音乐传奇鲍勃·迪伦也已确认将加入《摇滚乐队 2》，歌曲《Tangled Up in Blue》也将入选。对于 Guns N' Roses 的粉丝来说，还有一个大新闻，Rigopulos 表示，酝酿已久的《中国民主》专辑中的歌曲《Shackler's Revenge》也将入选。

Rigopulos 表示，游戏将总共提供 80 多首曲目，包括 Metallica、Pearl Jam、Devo、Jane's Addiction、Modest Mouse、Interpol 等乐队的歌曲。发布后，将有 20 多首曲目可供免费下载。Rigopulos 表示，包括新曲目和以前的可下载内容，到今年年底，该游戏将提供 500 多首曲目。

原版游戏的玩家似乎将能无缝体验续集。之前从商店下载的任何歌曲都将与《摇滚乐队 2》兼容，用户还可以从原版游戏中移植歌曲，完全跳过光盘交换过程。
